Once Upon A Time

"Once upon a time..."
As the fairy-tales used to say
There was a boy and a girl
Whose paths did cross one day
Her knight in camo armour
His princess, yet unseen
Spotting each other across a warehouse
Sparking a love meant to be
The knight's mane has lost it's hue
A crown of silver, befitting of any king
The princess is now all grown up
And has taken her place as his queen
Happily, ever after does exist
Once upon a time still lives and breathes
And, regardless of what dragons need slaying
It's best to hold hands when crossing the street

Dedicated with love to Rodney Allen Oldham- the Knight who became my King
