Imagination on the Strand
Imagination paints this town,
A canvas stretched from dunes to pier,
Where ocean whispers calm the soul,
Yet carnival lights keep dreams near.
A melting pot, a world combined,
Locals, travelers—hearts entwined.
From golf greens to seafood feasts,
A symphony of life's sweet treats.
Here, my boys grew tall and strong,
Raised by waves and seagull song.
In this calm, coastal, vibrant land,
Their roots took hold in shifting sand.
Funky, unique, and joyfully unbounded,
A carnival town where family is found.
Neon lights and Ferris wheels,
Yet nature’s grace forever heals.
A place of flash, a place of flair,
But grounded in the salty air.
The world converges on our shore,
To laugh, to play, and to explore.
And as we grow, evolve, transform,
Through storms and change, we find new form.
A city reborn with each tide’s rise,
Its potential sparkles in our skies.
So here’s to Myrtle, ever free,
A dreamscape shaped by you and me.
A place to live, to love, to roam,
Forever proud to call it home.
