Open Hands Together
April 11, 2025
BY Bo Bryan
I love you is all there is to say,
For if I do, and you believe me,
If in turn, you love me back,
In silence or in darkness,
By the very light of love,
With open hands together,
Both have a better chance
Of finding our way.
by Bo Bryan, Poet Laureate of Myrtle Beach
(C) George W. Bryan, Jr. 4/11/25
A poem to memorialize the sculpture,
Fashioned from silhouettes
Of three-hundred and fifty hands,
Belonging to deaf and blind children,
Given to the City of Myrtle Beach.
