The Deep Connection
To relate your love to a water stream,
Refreshing it is to have you around.
Like a river you're flowing through my dreams,
Only rushing water as soothing sound.
I start with my feet and take a step in.
With its warmth, I am welcomed and embraced.
I splash the water on my face and skin,
All my worries seem to have been erased.
But at night the river's water turns cold.
Still, I am cooled from the heat of the night.
River's devotion never growing old,
And reminding me I have chosen right.
So long as water streams this big blue Earth,
So long I will endure your warm loves worth.
